ITT Cannon Nano-D 는 MIL-DTL-32139 표준의 초소형 nanominiature 사각형 커넥터입니다. Micro-D (MIL-DTL-83513) 보다도 더 작은 0.025 인치 (0.635mm) center 의 nano pitch — 극한의 공간·중량 제약 시스템 (미사일·UAV·우주·medical) 전용.

Nano-D 는 D-subminiature 계열에서 가장 작은 form factor — Micro-D (MIL-DTL-83513) 의 0.050" contact center 의 절반인 0.025" (0.635mm) center 로 구현된 nanominiature D. MIL-DTL-32139 표준이 2007년 이후 nanominiature 표준으로 채택되어 군용 정식 라인이 됐습니다.

둘 다 사각형 nanominiature/microminiature D. Micro-D (MIL-DTL-83513) 는 0.050" (1.3mm) contact center, Nano-D (MIL-DTL-32139) 는 그 절반인 0.025" (0.635mm). 즉 Nano-D 가 같은 공간에 contact 를 4배 (면적 기준) 배치 가능. 다만 current rating 도 낮음 (Micro-D 3A vs Nano-D 1A). application 의 공간·전류 trade-off 로 선정.
